In this first book in the series, the author introduces readers to the lies and distortions that have been hoisted on them as American citizens by those who would use them for other ends. The book explores what could be some at least partial answers to the problems confronting our society at the beginning of the twenty-first century.

Read an excerpt:
You know the important role morality, common sense, and man's perceived ability to thrive in society had in the writing of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. You frequently hear from supposed experts how these documents may no longer apply, because this is now the twenty-first century. First, let me tell you something many of you already know, but it bears repeating. There aren't any experts. Those that used to be able to refer to themselves as such are now on the same footing as the rest of us, and most often they are a whole lot worse off because they lack a couple of very important tools, common sense and the perception of life that is gained from years of living in the trenches of American society.
It isn't just the politicians who don't have a feel for the reality and situation of working class life in the U.S., it's also the media, and much of the legal system. Of course there are always exceptions, but due to the fact that I personally have not had the luxury of visiting many of our states I did not meet any myself. Like many others, I'm sure, I'm glad to see that many of these supposed experts are not experts any longer, and have started to drop by the wayside.
